So, way back in my first year, I spent most of my time trying to put together conceptual designs. Was actually extremely helpful. I didn't have to worry about matching comic looks or getting things just right. It looked however I wanted it to look. I did a few of these and wrote down ideas for a lot more. One of my favorites from the batch was this Vampire Lord design for Zartan. I remember picking him since he was the master of disguise and some vampire lore involves shapeshifting. I think in my original it was a few different GI Joe parts, with Nemesis Immortal's lower arms and lower legs. Cape was Doom, with the head and hood from Zartan. Noted for comparison. For this one, I used a Daredevil body, and sculpted up the boots, knees, arm bands and blades, belt, shoulder pads, and chest armor. Head was Zartan with the hood sculpted on. Cape was from Dr Strange with the collar cut off. Full repaint, and he was all finished up! I found notes where I was considering turning Destro into a Vampire Hunter. Would have been interesting to see how many of those I could have come up with.
