Chrome dome here was put together by resculpting a Hulk head on a Venom base - putting 'em in scale with the Marvel Legends line-up. The mits were from a Mcfarlane Al Simmons, the boots from a Darth Vader fig and added some grenades from Spawn. Used a strip of flexible plastic for the utility belt, with some sculpt work done for the pouches, and his rapier is from a cocktail stir stick, repainted. His collar was cut from clamshell with sculpt work on the back for support, all hand painted in acrylics. Spray painted the head silver metallic. Once dried, used a dab (just a smidgen!) of linseed oil and polished it to chrome level.
Have been working on some customs of characters that bear the seal of badazz. They ain't necessarily criminally inclined, thou it does help. They're mostly just characters from popular culture/movies/comics that have proven themselves worthy of being renegades, rebels, or reprobates. At the end of the day, they excel in freaking us out with their badassnicity lol.
The target is to complete at least 10 bad boyz. Destro begins this series and sets us in the right direction. As a villain, he had always evaded capture, so he's portrayed here as trying to escape even the gallery picture! Obviously there'll be some that might not make it on this list, no worries, hopefully this series will be interesting enough for other creators to add their own.
