I made this Erebor Dwarf Soldier a couple years ago, but never posted it here. So, in between my customs of Thorin and Company, I figured I'd stick this in here.

It's made from a Coronation Gimli with tons of sculpt and glued on parts and pieces. I am itching to make another now..

Excellent job on this Dwarf Custom! Once you get that itch, you may make a Legion of them! That reminds me of a scene in the Return of the King where Gimli says "Wish I could muster a Legion of Dwarves, fully armed and filthy!"

Thank you, Red Wolf!! I love that line from ROTK and especially his delivery. I also love that it was a nod to the battle that was fought at Erebor during the War of the Ring.

Thanks Staley! I didn't mean to keep it from you guys! There was a time where I posted here much less often. Since they've made it easier to post customs, I've done it more. I doubt I'll go back and post many throwbacks but this one seemed appropriate.

What I love about this is it's a very clear and clean sculpt and paint job. I can see the pieces you've combined like Eowyn's Durnhelm Helmet is a very good overlay on Gimli's helmet. Looks great!
