So for my 100th post let's take a little one to appreciate the Hobbit movie series' original character: Tauriel. This was something I felt thefigure sorely needed. She comes with her daggers and bow and a peg to inhumanly stick the quiver into her back and frankly I don't like that xD. So what I did was take Legolas 3.75 inch figures quiver and removed the sheath part and then sanded it down and stuck it on a belt taken from a FOTR Legolas. Now that mod I showed back in 2015. What I have done this time is also stick over the quiver onto it after some sanding and obviously the bow was strung as it needs to be functional, I also painted her eyes hazel and spent a great deal of time looking at pictures of tauriel or Evangelina Lily and the character definitely has greenish brown eyes so hazel. The most challenging part was spending around six hours until the wee early hours in the morning sewing her traveling coat with the corset ties at the front, it's come out pretty well and has the hood and ties authentic look and it's definitely improved the figure. Another hugely important aspect was making her taller so I took a pelenor fields Eowyn which I use mainly for Dwarf customs as it's a great base and took the legs from that attached the lower leg to tauriels boots and made her taller and then filled any gaps with miliput. I also cut spaces in the original skirt part to make her be able to pose with all firing stance. I'm super happy with this custom as she took a lot of work and has come out the better for it.

This is my 100th post and I was putting off postin anything but I thought instead of waiting here's a new addition of a character who sorely needed an upgraded. This is HER look mainly featured in the films as we see her mainly in this over coat.
