My absolute favorite Cyclops design. So, since I've been dying to make some Age of Apocalypse characters lately, I decided to give the eCrater store an Age of Apocalypse theme for the month. Some of my favorite designs for my favorite month. Starting off with Cyclops here. I think part of my interest in the design also comes from the fact that I liked him more as a villain in that original run. I was never fully satisfied with my first attempt at him and I think he came out much better this time. Whole base is Daredevil. Really starting to like that head. Cut the horns off and sculpted up the visor. After that, I sculpted on the hair. Tried layering it one piece at a time, and it seemed to work a bit better. Still need to watch some more tutorials. Hair is something I'm just really not getting. Sculpted up everything. The arm bands, the belt, the strap across his chest, and the armor up his arm. Full repaint, and done!
