Hey, it took a while, but I'm back on the dwarves from The Hobbit again! Thanks to Bastila,Deaditor,and Staley for keeping me inspired and forcing me to junk my figures that I wasn't putting full effort into.

Ori was probably my least favorite dwarf from the Hobbit,but once I started working on the figure, the design really grew on me! I still don't love the character,but this figure might have overtaken my Balin as my new favorite dwarf custom.

Marvel Legends Coulson head
Lots of sculpt and fodder!

Thanks for looking and I've got a Dwalin, Bofur, and Gloin in the pipeline and nearly finished.

Solid Custom of Ori! Ori's continued adventures with Balin back to Khazad-dûm would be Great to see in a film! If you ever get the chance, a great accessory for Ori would be the Book of Mazarbul.

Thanks for commenting Red Wolf! I gave him a little book like he carried in the movie, but you're right, a Book of Mazarbul would be great!! I'd love (and hate) to see a movie about the retaking of Khazad-Dum. it'd break my heart to see my lovable Balin die. But it would make a great film!

Agreed, a movie with the fall of Balin would be sad but Lord Balin and his Dwarves didn't go down without a fierce fight. Seeing Ken Stott reprise the role of Balin would be Awesome. Plus I would love to see the Axe of Durin found by Balin in Khazad-dûm would indeed be the same Axe that Gimli picks up after the Cave Troll destroys Balin's Tomb!

Thanks so much! I was so intimidated when I started, but once the "lightbulb" went off, it came together pretty quickly. I was surprised that it was as simple as it was. I forgot to mention that the scarf is Gandalf's, but cut, reglued, and adhered.
