Created last year [2016]. This was a fun build. The base figure, Night-Ops Bumblebee, came from the RID toyline. And it looked a bit too short, so I decided to cut it in half and make it taller with added putty and other slim plastic layers used as frontal panels, on top of the stomach putty. I added lots of fancy body armor panels, before coloring him black and glossy red with Tamiya paints. And I used sharpie markers on some smaller areas. I also added a new custom blade gauntlet... it was removable at first, but I later just glued it on. That altered his transformation, but I created him as an upright model, so it didn't matter to me.
The rear trunk of his vehicle mode from his transformation [which flips down behind his back] created the perfect slot for the recolored Sword that came with the toy. And the recolored heavy blaster came from the Combiner Wars Thundercracker [the large jet].
