My Mum's always been my hero, even before I realized that she was. She's always been there for me, guided me, pushed me to be better than I already was, and didn't take any of my guff. I'm extremely blessed that she's around. She's one of the reasons I got into 1:6 scale figures to begin with, since my first 12" action figure was a birthday gift from her. Beyond my life, my Mum's a leader in the community, has saved countless lives, and never gives up. She's a real heroine, not just to me, but to scores of others whose lives she's touched.
As a doctor, she's in scrubs most days, with her needed white coat, but she also dresses casually, too. I actually lucked out on this Midge head just as it was, without having to do anything to it. The scrubs are from a Medline promotional doll. The white coat is Barbie's as is the stethoscope (from a different Barbie); her sneakers are from a BFC Inc. Club doll.
My Mum isn't just my hero; she's countless others' hero, as well; and frankly, I can honestly say that I wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for her.
