With the texture being different on figmas vs marvel/dc is there any change to the prep or painting process or any tips?

Sometimes the higher plastic quality doesn't bond with the paint the same, Testors works fine, but can need more coats, Vallejo is ok for details, but not broad areas, comes off really easy, Tamiya is what I use more often on figmas, it's what I used to paint the Figma Link figures I've made in the past. That's what I know about the main three types of paint I use anyway.
