This is another vintage style custom figure I was asked to make of Shadow Weaver from the classic She-Ra cartoon series.

For this custom I used a vintage Glimmer figure as a base.

This figures main action feature is her light up eyes which were achieved by placing a small LED inside her head. I inserted 2 tiny pieces of transparent yellow plastic into her eye sockets to make them glow yellow. They can be turned on & off with a little switch which is situated on her lower back.

Her hood, sleeves & skirt section were all sculpted with a product called fixit sculpt. Once the sculpt had set I painted the entire figure using Humbrol enamel paints. Her hands however were painted with glow in the dark enamel paints to help give the figure a magical look.

I also made her a little clear plastic base which helps make her look like she is floating. This base is removable.

Her cape is made from a soft glittery red fabric & is attached to the figure with metallic red elastic.

Her belt was created using gold holographic tape which was then attached to some faux leather fabric. I then cut out the belt shape & stitched 2 popper buttons at the back. To complete it I made a cast of a Horde logo from another figure, painted it gold & attached it to the front of her belt.
