I tried drilling into the head and it still didn't work so I gave up. I think I'll have to find another Force Awakens unmasked Kylo Ren and paint the scar on his face.

Hi..sorry for late respond. I cut a piece of the ball joint..make it smaller to fit the head. And rub it with sandpaper to make it ball joint surface more smooth.

Oh Ok. My way didn't work. The ball joint still made the head stretch out. I wanted to avoid sanding the ball joint down and have it so both the helmeted head and the Last Jedi unmasked Kylo head could be interchangable. I guess I wasted $8.

Ohh I see..then no choice I think..unless if you were able to recast the helmet mold..and make it as thick as possible..you will able to get the removeable helmet version. I've tried before but the head size isnt proportion with the figure body.

I'm gonna try to get another Force Awakens unmasked Kylo Ren figure and use his head. I only have to paint the scar on him. That head fits perfectly.
