This custom took me over a year to finish, so I don't even remember what the base figure is... some Thor parts... some Odin/old man Thor baf parts... tons of Milliput! Hello fellow Realmers. I'm back at my customizing table, and happy to get some of the half finished figures completed. The ring armor took forever to sculpt, and almost the whole figure is sculpt: boots, gauntlets, torso, beards, hair... One of the most disappointing Marvel Legends figures ever made was the Baf Odin, who was really just an old man Thor with an alternate head (he still had a "T" on his belt buckle..."T" for Odin!). I had a very specific look and size in mind for this figure. I wanted to make a modern Odin that was big and imposing, with some of that old man bulkiness, but I didn't want him to look like the Hulk. I sculpted him some Ravens to sit on his shoulders, and gave him three interchangeable helmets as well as an unmasked head. The helmets have various reconfigurable horns and topper pieces, so you can create many different looks. Two swords, two control rods, two alternate staff tops. This set is huge and the customization options are a lot of fun to play with! Sooo much work, but now that he's done, it was worth it!
