Hello everyone, back with another update and another figure to reveal… errrr figures rather. Check them out! Straight outta Age of Ultron, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff aka Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

This is my second attempt at this pair, my first being back when I first started customizing (comparison pics below). This time around I was going for more realistic scaling to the existing Marvel Legends MCU figures. They stuck out like a sore thumb in my collection and they either needed to be removed or redone. I went for the latter.

Quicksilver was made out of a Spider Man Homemade Suit MCU torso, upper legs and feet, lower legs from a Star Wars Black Finn figure, arms from a Toybiz Longshot figure, hands from an MCU Dr Strange figure and the head and fists are casts I bought from casting cave.

Scarlet Witch was made using a Nico Minuro base figure. I swapped out the boots (but not the feet) with White Tiger. The upper arms and jacket come from Rogue and the upper torso, hands and head came from the Scarlet Witch from the Abomination wave.

There was a bit of sculpting to be done on both of these figures. Quicksilver’s shoulders needed to be bulked up a bit because the original ones were way too small. I also sculpted some details onto the shoes, the hands, the crotch and the neck. For Scarlet Witch it was a bit easier, some sculpting for the wrist bands, stockings and lots of details on the boots.

Overall, I’m beyond happy to replace my old customs with my new ones in my Age of Ultron display in my collection. More pics of these two on my webpage … google 'customs by matchu' to find it (since I can't post links here). Cheers!
