Hello, continuing my AVP Extinction series with my xenomorph praetorian figure. This is a special one, as it is one of my favorite subspecies of xenomorph. I like to call it the Ferrari xeno, as it's always portrayed as an efficient and infinitely more vicious alien. I'm sure NECA will release one eventually, but for now, I'm happy with this one.

In game mentioned above, the Praetorian alien is one the 3 "purebreed aliens" units. It's functions as a more powerful warrior, and has the ability to morph into a queen or one of the purebreeds, the carrier and ravager. It functions as a queen bodyguard, guarding her and the eggs.

My recipe-the base figure is the AVP Grid alien, lower legs and arm spikes from Diablo, used the Mcfarlane AVP queen crest and back spikes both modified to fit the neca figure. The 6 on the head is a nod to the praetorian's other appearance in the 2010 AVP game as an alternative skin for multiplayer mode. The main character of the aliens missions also has a 6 branded on the head. Finally finished her up with a metallic-glossy black, and painted some gore on the inner mouth, as that is your main attack in the game. Painted a bit of battle damage on the crest.
