Taken quite a few pictures but still want to take some more with the Warg and Bolg and poor Fili, but for now here are some pics. Basically bought an extra Azog figure for two reasons. 1 to take parts from Thrors Crown on his severed head as well as his moustache for my Thorin/Thror in Erebor Royal Raven armour custom and 2 to make an armoured Azog. My previous attempt was to make a removable cuirass which whilst efficient I wanted this to be done properly with boots, vanbraces, pauldrons etc. So I sculpted it all from scratch. As you can see I also did a completely new face sculpt. They did a terrible job on Azog making his yes red and too squinted and small and I wanted him roaring when he charges Thorin so I did this and it's come out amazingly well looking more like the character with the scars in the right place etc. Essentially I Darth Malak'd him removing the Jaw hollowing it out then sculpting in teeth and a tongue and lips and resculpted parts of the face notably the brow. So we finally got some snow and a I left a blue rubber sheet in a ditch out and filled with some water so it became a frozen lake for the shots I needed and used some bases and walls for the right look as well as lots of snow. Added some pics with our favourite barrels Jerry n pal to show the accessories and I wanted to show a comparison shot and take a shot of Azog scolding Bolg which also give an opportunity to take warg pics and a shot to show the sword arm better. Please wait... |
