Back on my Legend of Zelda kick, this time with another character who appeared in Hyrule Warriors, though his game of origin is of course Ocarina of Time, Darunia. He was a pretty intuitive conversion from Ulik the troll, though I did use apoxie sculpt to give him 5 toes, bigger hands, his epic beer gut, and of course sculpt over the head to make Darunia's round face and EPIC mane. Funny story, to make the sandstone color for his skin tone I mixed several colors of paint together (beige, brown, and just a hint of orange) and the color I came up with looks so much like human skin that I kind of icked myself when I was painting this big naked guy with a giant gut. Well in any case he is super poseable thanks to Ulik's fantastic articulation and looks really good with Ruto.
