The goal was to create a 6 inch Romita-era Spider-Man that could do anything a spider can by being super posable. The Toy Biz Dual Web Swing Spider-Man had the perfect head sculpt, but lacked the articulation that I needed. Conversely,the Revoltech Spider-Man had crazy amounts of articulation, but the head sculpt was way too stylized for my liking. So, I performed a simple head swap so that my Revoltech Spider-Man would have the toy Biz Spider-Man's head and I couldn't be more happy with the results.

I had bought some double ball joints overseas to use for the Toy Biz head on the Revoltech body, but this resulted in Spider-Man's already longneck being elongated further,so I simply stuck some bits of rubber inside of the toy Biz head and mounted that on top of the revoltech Spider-Mans neck peg. It sounds super janky, but it actually works and the head moves as if it's on a legitimate ball peg. No extra paint was necessary to make the figure not look as if it had been created from two separate figures from two separate eras of toy making. Luckily for me, the colors on both Spider-Man figures were nearly identical.
