Coming straight from cosmic space, ROM, the Space Knight. To make this custom, I used Mr Sinister (Marvel Legends Sentinel series / Toy Biz), resculpting virtually the entire figure. I hope you like it!
Hey Leo, what are those "vinilic paints" you mentioned in your other customs? Do you have a picture of them? How are they different from acrylic paints?
Vinilic paint is made of PVC, even the plastic material of the figures, and so the grip is huge. They do not peel... In my country, Brazil, I buy in silk-screen stores
Could you post a picture or the stuff you buy? Do you get it in cans or tubes? In gallons or quarts? What's your process for painting? Do you take out and thin small batches of the paint so it doesn't all dry up?
I've been sending emails to all the screen printing places I can find, so far very few have replied and they weren't too helpful. There are so many varieties of screen printing ink/paint and they all sound similar, it's like they don't know what to recommend for painting toys specifically. Or they just never thought to do it.
Again, thanks for taking the time to give us this info, it's very valuable to have members share how they do things because obviously the companies have no idea what we're talking about.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
I am interested in purchasing some of your figures such as this one.
Please advise how we can go about making this happen.
My phone number is 347-659-8586 or please advise email so I can send photo's of wish list figures.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

I was looking for information on it by asking paint shops but all they could do is tell me about paint for vinyl siding (exterior house paint).
I hope I have helped.
