Wonder Toys encouraged me to try some JLU figures, and now I wish I had started collecting them back when they were overstocked and on sale in stores. At least local ones. Now, they're a bit pricier and harder to come by. I opened up a new store recently, and have been trying to broaden the stock a bit, so JLU was a great option. At least until I figure out what to make with the 6" figures I have. Everything I aim for has already been done. So, anyway. Once I saw Animal Man, I knew Red Hood had to be on the list. I sanded down the head quite a bit and resculpted it. Came out a little bulkier than intended, but I'm thinking it still works ok in the JLU universe. I feel like it would have been bulkier if he had appeared in the show. So, I didn't thin it out any. After that, full repaint, and done! One more immediate one planned, then I'll have to start looking into lots.
