This is one of my favorite customs I have ever made, it looks great and I had a lot of fun. I started with the base body which was a Movie Masters John Blake and a WWE Roman Reigns vest from eBay. I had to reshape the vest to get it tighter around the body and then I added the details like the radio which is from the John Blake coat as well as the badge on his the belt. I cut zip ties into thin strips for the cuffs. The walkie-talkie on the back was from a 3 3/4" figure's backpack. I also added the swat patch on the front and the back. I started with the legs next. From the knee down are actually Bane legs I swapped with the originals, you could also use a Mattel Ghostbusters figure's legs. The straps around the legs are from a "Survival Suit" Bruce Wayne figure. The gun holster is from a DC Universe Classics Kamandi and the binoculars are from a Chap Mei army figure. The knee pads are a Movie Masters The Dark Knight figure's shoulder pads re-tooled. The head is from a Jim Gordon figure but I popped the glasses off, cut off the rim edge at the bottom of the lenses, and pulled the glasses a little tighter to the face to get the right shape. The hands were left over Winston Zeddemore gloves I had from Mattel, the back and forth articulation is really helpful when posing with the shotgun. The tactical shotgun is from Chap Mei as well as the pistol for the holster. This was a lot of work but overall this is a really accurate figure that I love having on my display shelf. Thanks for taking a look! Please wait... |
