For me, Jack Nicholson will always be the best Joker... However, as anyone who casts an eye over NECA's Twitter page will know, the likelihood of getting a Jack Nicholson Joker figure from them is highly unlikley, due to Nicholson's likeness rights being too expensive for them to acquire. A pity, but it left me with little choice but to make my own...

I used an Alex Ross Joker figure for the base and a scaled down custom cast of the Hot Toys Joker head sculpt.
The neck and wing collar had to be removed from the base figure and a standard collar sculpted in its place.
The long strips of fabric hanging from the bow-tie were sculpted from Green Stuff.
The figure was repainted head to toe (the trousers were particularly time consuming) and I added a hat from my fodder bag to top him off.
