Thought the base figure would be perfect and little work but checking with the GLA books as reference it turned out that it was not quite as simple as I first thought. I love the Blob figure with all the rolls of fat but Bertha's appearance is a lot more bulbous with inflated limbs. That led to what seemed like unending sanding and filling. Removed that mean old Blob face and replaced with a sweeter looking She-Hulk one (Bertha is a super model after all). Added some height, volume and style to the hair with Apoxie Sculpt. The feet were also from She-Hulk. Had originally intended to use She-Hulk's hands but even though Bertha has regular sized hand and feet they looked just too small. Eventually settled for a set of Doc Ock hands.
