Ages ago, I became very obsessed with the alternate colors in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Some of them look really awesome. It also made me think for a while that there was a blue costume variant for Phoenix that I couldn't find. I like the way they adapted alternate character designs into just being alternate colors. Like how Quasar became a really cool alternate color for Nova. One of my other favorite alternates was Magneto. It might just be my absolute love for black/red designs, but I think this is his best look in the game. I fixed up a classic Magneto a year or two ago, and realized I still had one, and a proper cape. So, I took some time and finally made the alternate I've been procrastinating. Head was from the MU Magneto with the cape from Mysterio. Cut off and remade the collar. Sculpted up the boots, gauntlets, and the belt. I think the hands might have come from Vortious. I just like how they match his pose. Full repaint, and finally done!
