This custom figure's design is inspired by the Homemade Spider Man suit that was made for the upcoming movie Spider Man Homecoming. I used a Marvel Legends Superior Spider Man Figure for the base body. I removed the webbing on his head and neck using acetone and painted over the sculpted eyes with the traditional Spider Man styled eyes. Instead of sculpting over the entire body with apoxy, I made the suit out of real fabric like how Mezco and Hot Toys does with theirs. I'm still thinking about painting his feet and hands to be more screen accurate but I thought the black hands and feet actually goes well with the dark colors of the outline on his eyes and spider symbol.
