As my Star Trek Universe Netflix binge continues so does my figure inspiration. After completing Voyager I felt like Seven was the standout of the show (everyone has their uh...reasons...). Made from the new X-men wave Phoenix with a Shadowcat left hand. Resculpted her chest and ribs (made them a wee bit more pronounced than in the show, only because the costume is SO simple I wanted to emphasize the detail where I could) using fishing line. Hard to tell from the pictures but theres a metallic shimmer to the bodysuit and even a little "texture" I applied using the paint. Head is modified Phoenix with hair sculpted. All the borg tech was a PAIN IN THE MF ASS but I love how it came out. Had to simplify it a little to scale it down but itll do. I deliberately did not give the character heels like in the show. Heels on a robot are stupid and they don't help it stand any better...so yeah. Im sure Jeri Ryan would agree with me. This will probably end up on ebay this week with my Picard as a two-some. Enjoy

This is truly a work of art (as is Jeri Ryan in real life, but that's another story...). Very well done!

Congratulations in advance for the $300 youre gonna get for those two figures lol. I bid for the hell of it

How do you protect the joints on your figs? I see people on here bust out amazing figures with no tool marks at the joints, so I can't tell how you prevent paint rub there.

Ha I hope I'm that fortunate! For joints, first step is a thorough sanding both to take a thing layer off and to prep the surface. Next, depending on the color, I use a colored sharpie to "stain" the plastic (this is very dependent on the color Im trying to achieve and the color of the underlying plastic). Then I do a very thin layer of the color (paint) and a very thin layer of super glue. Let it fully dry and test. If it still rubs, sand, paint and repeat. Sanding, Patience, and Superglue. If you sand enough in the beginning, the layer of paint+glue will usually bring it right back up to the original surface level so your joints won't be too loose or too tight.

Damn, man, that turned out GREAT! It may be a relatively "simple" costume, but the attention to the small details really make this figure stand out. May have to "borrow" the fishing line idea for some things. Again, simply fantastic work!
