CASE is one of three former marine surplus robots , alongside TARS and KIPP. His primary purpose was maintenance and operation of the Endurance in the absence of human crew members. CASE's personality is characterized as more quiet and reserved as opposed to TARS' personality.

Interstellar is an amazing movie and I wanted an action figure of CASE for my collection, however none has been released yet. So I decided to make a CASE by myself.

I wanted this figure to be more than just a box, for this reason I installed in its interior a smart phone. That gives it new capabilities like play music and images, or talk with it using Siri.

I started the fabrication using acrylic sheet, I engraved it with all the small panels and screens that CASE has. The internal structure was made using cardboard.

4 magnets sustain the renovable upper panel that gives access to CASE interior. Using this panel you can remove or install the smart phone.
For the paint I used aluminium color and transparent spray to seal the paint. Additionally I painted every panel unions with black to highlight the details. Regards.
