The Tantive IV was built by the Corellian Engineering Corporation, sometime before the end of the Clone Wars. Originally called the Star of Alderaan, it was renamed to honor the Tantive system's diplomats. During the time of the Clone Wars, the ship was the consular ship of Alderaan's senator in the Galactic Republic, Bail Organa. The vessel's final voyage was during Operation Skyhook: a secret mission to the planet Toprawa to obtain the schematics for the Empire's new battle station, the First Death Star.

The first starship that you can see in the Star Wars original trilogy is the Tantive IV, escaping from a star destroyer. Is an iconic and impressive scene.

The Tantive IV / blockade runner, was totally scratch made, I used non conventional materials: soft drink cans, a Pringles tube, packs of cigarettes, wine caps, cardboard, an cellular phone circuits, an old camera flash and many pieces I found in several places. I used silicone to stick all the parts together and three colors of spray paint.

This spaceship has a secret that only high command officers are allowed to know. The Tantive IV transforms in two different modules, a exploration starship and in a space station.

This vehicle is 32.5 inches long, 7.0 inches high and 11.0 inches wide.
