Here is a custom I finished earlier last month I forgot to post. I always thought Blastaar would make a perfect Apocalypse, just had to do some engineering to get the shoulderpads and all the details correct. I used a shrunken BAF head and sculpted extra volume in the back of the head to fit the peg better and fill the sculpt out. For the neck piece and shoulderpads I cobbled a Bulldozer neck piece, gears of war straps, and rhino shoulderpads and sculpted the piping with Sugru rubber. I also modded the wrist gauntlets by shortening them and adding the Sugru piping detail to those too. I used a couple Piledriver belts for the thighs, an Odin Baf knee pad for the belt buckle, Iron Monger BAF elbow pads and wires all modded to attach to the belt, and fodder wiring from the neck to the shoulderpads. I pegged the shoulderpads and added Sugru detail over the peg area. The shoulderpads do not hinder articulation as the Gears straps are very flexible. I finished him off with some weaponized hands that I pegged, and painted him up with hand and airbrush paint overspray detail as usual. I wanted to match Olivetti's art as much as possible, and have a more imposing taller less squatty appearance than the MU version.
