One I had planned for a while, and one in desperate need of an accurate height. I used the Symbiote Spidey for no paint rub. I swapped on the 2014 Superior Spidey head, hands, shoulders and feet unmodified. I painted the entire torso, using a fine line pen for the webbing. I bought some 3D printed spider legs with the gauntlets and backpack from a seller from the Philippines, not Strangefate on Shapeways. The quality of this version is absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs. I am stuck with them because he won't accept refunds. The legs are attached to the backpack via ball joints which a weak and break easily, I had 2 sets that broke like that. Poorly made. The sculpt of the legs is great, the manufacture, not so much. The legs, backpack and gauntlets are printed at very low resolution, holding no detail and look like they're knobbly and wooden because of all the lines in them. But I tried to make them work, sanded them down and painted them. It was hard to take photos with the legs on since one was completely broken, only temporarily held on for the picture. But I am happy with my custom at least. Thanks for looking! ![]() |

Figure for ages, buying strange fates parts. It's all sculpted. But I might have to use your idea for the venom body switch.
Amazing work man! Amazing! Kudos.
Don't have time to finish mine yet. Planning on redoing it, any tips on removing paint?
Do you suggest on making the web lines uniform or messy?
I usually use a fine grit sandpaper to remove paint, or failing that, carefully use a cotton bud with acetone or nail polish remover, make sure to not do too much at once and to use a clean one after each wipe. Wash well if you use that method. Otherwise sandpaper is safer.
You could do the lines nice and neat, but Superior Spidey was known for having more erratic web lines, so you could do either. Have you got a fine line pen to put them on? Pigma Micron 03 is what I use.
