Lucha Underground ignited my interest in wrestling again, so I started building some of the wrestlers working there.

Son of Havoc is about 5' 7'', an average height among a stable of near 7 foot monsters, I had to do some research and use specific WWE Elite figure parts for this custom.

Yeah, surprisingly I used a lot of Batista parts despite that guy being huge. Batista thighs are actually the shortest thighs I've seen used in the line, go figure. I think even the crotch piece was also slightly shorter than usual. Once assembled, the figure is about 6 inches even, which roughly translates into under 6 feet tall in the WWE Elite scale. I think this is as small as Elite figures can be using the "normal" parts. As you can see in the last pic, the small guys in the line do have unique smaller body parts, but I think they look like kids compared to the other figures so I didn't use parts from them.

SCULPT & PAINT

Since I had to sculpt over the whole thing anyway, the head didn't matter too much. I went with a spare SCSA head because it has that steely gaze and a smooth head already, saving me some time. Cut the ears off, sculpted, done. I did what I could with the beard, it's supposed to be a messy bush but I'm not sure how to achieve that look yet FFFFFF

The legs were bare meat, so I sculpted over them entirely, also giving them tight wrinkles.

I had to paint the arms because they were too dark, so I matched the chest with Ryn Flesh and a little Sulfuric Yellow from Formula P3 paints. It looks fine to the naked eye, but I'm sure a robot (like the camera) would nitpick the shade.

ACCESSORIES

I slit the vest along the side seams to make it easy to remove without damaging the arms.

Arm bands are made with electrical tape.
