First off, I appreciate all the compliments! I know I don't get to reply to all of them, but I definitely read them, and try to get to the questions. So, this week we focus on the Galactic Guardians. I keep putting them off, and decided to stop doing that. Already had Firelord and Martinex fixed up, so they'll be saved for the group shot. Started things off with the Spirit of Vengeance. I liked the team because it pulled together a bunch of powerhouses, and I liked seeing a space Ghost Rider. Fixing him up also gives me a bit more confidence in potentially making a Danny Ketch Ghost Rider and Speed Demon from Amalgam. Two I've procrastinated for the spikes. I sculpted up the shoulder pads, arm bands, wrist bands, leg bands, and belt. Spikes were all cut from a GI Joe ammo strap and glued on. Tedious, but effective. Really need to get more of those ammo belts. Took a head from Ghost Rider that already had the flames removed. Sculpted up the extra bits on the head, then added larger flames over it. Full repaint after all that, and done!
