Maria Renard is a bonus playable character in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. She is a young girl imbued with magic that allows her to control animals and the four celestial beasts. Her family had been killed when Dracula's monster army attacked her village. She was the first "magical little girl" character type in the games, which would go on to become a series staple. I started with the diamond select barbara kean, snapped her legs off and gave her smaller ones with era appropriate shoes. Then I painted her dress pink (with help from my daughter). Finally I bought little figures to represent the celestial beasts, and painted where necessary. This is one I'll probably improve on eventually.
