received the Jack figure & I have to say that you really captured him nicely. I have always loved this guy! His overly complicated costume coupled with trying to show some kind of a person inside of it I think has been daunting to custom artists. Although Bluebery did a smashing job on him not too long ago. Getting the body proportions right, the suit parts right, the head & face right. It was so complicated in comics that artists constantly drew him differently every time out. So they had to make a solid character blueprint of exactly what his suit looked like. you are one of the first artists to get all of his parts in correct proportions. It is more impressive right in front of you than it is in your pictures. I have a different one of him where the suit is just eating up the person inside. Yours genuinely looks like a real man wearing this costume who is ready for action. Except maybe for the belt area, the detailing with the sharpie really works well overall. Any attempt to do this character is wrought with all kinds of difficulty. just on the page,.. let alone as a sculpture. You really pulled it off masterfully!! Great job on him, Ben!! Your figures are becoming gold standards. You've been going to characters that few others have done before. How do you Brits and artists from Peru seem to know Marvel characters better than most Americans do?

I've really enjoyed pulling out some of the more obscure characters from the Marvelverse lately. While it's fun to do your iconic Storm, Psylocke and Gambit pieces, it's rewarding to know when you're doing a character that's either visually different like JoH here or just plain unlikely to get a release by Hasbro.
