Hi! I’m back with another custom…Is Ares God of War! After reading Dark Reign I fell in love with this Greek beast and decided to make myself a badass Ares. I took inspiration from different comics, and gave it a personal touch. Ares is made of the upper half from a Thor Figure and the bottom half from the Odin BAF figure (not just the legs…I chopped it in half..The God of Customs must feed ._.). I wanted Ares to be able to destroy titans so I gave the figure a…let’s say…Gladiator/warrior look. The head was reesculpted and I gave it the helmet of Gladiator Hulk with an added articulated ponytail. Had to make some modifications to make it removable but it was worth it.
The added pieces were made of leather (Gauntlet, Gun Holder and Skirt). I sculpted the Axe and the shield using pieces from a giant skeleton and lots of epoxy (seems like Ares actually beat a Titan and made weapons from his body ._./). The minigun (Big Gun) and the Gun holster Gun came from a Max Steel action figure, the blade came from the same Thor figure and the extra ones came from a Deadpool Select. And the cape…well I thought “what would make Ares even more badass?..... A CAPE!”….sadly Darth Vader lost his ….oh well!
