I always wanted a figure of my favorite monster from Yugioh, Norse Link here, better known as the Celtic Guardian, one of Yugi's signature monsters from the anime. I spent months wondering what would be the perfect base toy, when I stumbled across a Quan Chi figure on the clearance rack at toysrus for 4 bucks I had an epiphany. He had both pants and armor that would work, though I had to sand away most of his gimp straps. Most of his new costume elements and his amazing 6-pack are made out of apoxie sculpt, though the shoulder pads are made from craft foam. The sword he has came from a discount store toy robot that I gave a paint job, it doesn't really look like the Celtic Guardian's sword but we can just pretend he has an equip card :P
