So this week I wanted to focus on the Winter Guard. As I was taking pictures I realized I should have updated Red Guardian and Crimson Dynamo. While we got a cool Dynamo, he was generally huge in the Winter Guard. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Maybe next time. For now, though, I finally attempt the nightmare that is Ursa Major. I resculpted the whole body. Not only was that insanely tedious, but also a bit complex as I was trying to keep it fluid while still allowing for articulation. Somehow, I generally managed it. It took multiple days, and my hands ache just thinking about the process. Head came from a Papo Grizzly. Cut it off the figure, then pretty much hollowed out the inside. Just refit it with some sculpt. Whew. Full repaint after that, and he's done!
