I totally agree, I think im going to start with smaller objects and work my way up...I purchased the medium in hardness monster clay it is so difficult to just remove a piece to warm up though...

I want to learn how to proffessionally sculpt, Im going to be watching a lot of instructional youtube videos.

Awesome. Only advice I can give is to physically practice sculpting every day. There are important things that only become clear as you actually sculpt, like getting a feel for how the clay and tools will interact, how much pressure to apply for an effect, what angles to cut edges at, etc. Stuff like that tends to get glossed over in videos because it's old hat to the teachers, their hands know these things innately and don't always remember to tell the students lol.

Monster Clay is great for practicing because it's reuseable. I just found out they now make 3 different hardnesses, I'd go for the Hard or Medium because soft clays usually don't hold detail very well.
