After seeing the first set photos of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft on the set of the new Tomb Raider movie, I was inspired to try my hand at making Lara's reboot look. As big a Tomb Raider fan as I am, I've been intimidated by the small details and various props and accessories that are a part of the design, and finally decided to take the leap.

Lara is AJ Lee with Mickie James legs. The head is a modified ML Kitty Pryde. Lots of sculpting, including her top, undershirt, necklace, watch and bandages. Cobbled together the climbing axe from various bits and bobs, the base piece being a knife from a Kotobukiya model kit. Made the quiver by folding a piece of craft pleather into shape and attaching another strip of craft pleather for the strap. Took the bow from Sin City Miho and the arrows from Hunger Games Katniss, repainted. Took the belt and holster from a Plan B Toys WWII soldier and glued extra bits onto it, including a radio and twisty wire for the rope bundle. Thanks for looking! Oh, and I realised that today is Lara's birthday - according to the reboot bio, she's 25. Classic Lara is 49.
