I had to sacrifice my beloved full cloak predator for this one because Neca's water emergence Pred just didn't fit the bill. Dutch I bought specifically for this and just added "mud".
The base and trees are carved from rigid insulation foam.
The water is Realistic Water and Realistic Water Effects, which on the whole proved to be an expensive, time consuming mistake.
All base painting was done with cheap-o acrylic craft paint. All details were done with Citadel paints, washes, varnishes etc.

I made this diorama very difficult to photograph. Im very open to suggestions or requests to replace a picture with a specific angle

Amazing job! But whats with the blue on the pred? (Haven't seen the first movie and can't find it on the web 4 free) I did have the water emergence pred but never understood the electrical pattern.

Thanks! Yeah realistic water can look great, but A) every 1/8" layer takes more like 36 hours to dry rather than 24, and there's a good 1 1/2" of the stuff here, and B) the gel I put on it for texture (ripples and underwater currents) dried clear, but when I poured more water on it, it turned and cured white!! Now you can barely see the depth!
What do you use for water Metal?

In the future, if you do a project like this, you could use acetone to remove the paint from the Water Emergence Predator, so you won't have to sacrifice another favorite toy.
