"It's not over yet!" If you owned a Sony PlayStation you must remember the Spider-Man game! With a great story and chock full of classic villains, this was my favorite game growing up. But there was one boss battle unique to that game - the merger of Doctor Octopus and the Carnage symbiote - MONSTER OCK! Monster Ock was a head-to-toe repaint of Hasbro, Inc.'s Marvel Legends (Toyline) Anti-Venom. I should've used Toxin, as his colors were better to avoid paint rub, but I used what I had. The red was washed with black to bring out the details, and drybrushed repeatedly with red. The bone color on the teeth and nails is a custom blend. The tentacles were tricky - the top two came from an old Spider-Man Classics Doctor Octopus figure, while the bottom two were accessories from another figure. I liked the idea that the bottom tentacles had larger claws than the top two. One of them was a grappling hook from Mattel's grappling hook build-a-figure from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wave. The other came from Loki's machine from Avengers. I used hot glue to make it appear as though the symbiote on his back was gripping the tentacles. Finally, they were drybrushed to give the appearance of blood, dirt, burns, and grime.
