The games Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are considered the most popular and the best in the fighting game genre. Both franchises have great characters and storylines in their serie of games they produced. What if there were one hybrid fighter created from selecting a character from each game. Is it possible? Will it work? Can a fusion of a Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat character blend seamlessly?? Well you guys can be the judge of that, here is a hybrid SF/MK fighter I created for this contest. His name is Kano-Gat!!


Kano-Gat is a hybrid fighter consist of Street Fighter Sagat and Mortal Kombat Kano. He has a bi-polar personality and is very unpredictible on which side he decides to fight on. Kano-Gat alter egos is alway fighting against himself just like in Lord of the Rings character Smeagol/Gollum. His inner demons has his Street Fighter Sagat side at odds with Mortal Kombat Kano personality. It has him jumping from the Earthrealm to Outworld defeating and killing many fighters from each serie. When Kano-Gat fights someone from Street Fighter, he only uses Kano Special moves and fatalities. Whenever he enters the Outworld in matches against Mortal Kombat fighters, he use Sagat Muay Thai and Tiger uppercuts.

Kano-Gat is extremely dangerous and can't be trusted with his bi-polar tendencies.
Here what I did to create this hybrid fighter.



Head:   LCBH Striker modified with sculpted left eye patch

Torso:  ML Bulldozer with modified chest scar

Arms:   DCUC Mongul with some sculpt

Hands:  Sota Balrog, Alternate right hand is from ML Bulldozer with sculpted hand wraps

Legs:  ML Cable with sculpted armor detail


Knife, knife holder, waist and chest belts came from fodder. Finally painted his outfit in Kano Mortal Kombat 9 design while keeping Street Fighter Sagat features at the same time.

Hope you guys like this fusion. I have to admit, this was one of the most interesting customs I have created. I guess it is possible to combine SF and MK fighters. :)
