Happy New Year everyone! I have dubbed my piece the "Kaalimorph Queen" for this contest. This lovely lady is an Alien Queen loosely based off the hindu goddess Kaali (the goddess of time, creation, destruction and power). Although I am not a religious person, I am always interested in global theologies, especially when the gods look bad ass.

The base figure is a Predalien I purchased in an eBay parts lot (gotta love em'!). The head is from one of the most awesome Alien figures of all time; the Kenner alien queen with whipping tail action and extending inner-mouth. As the old Queen had gimmicks mine does as well. She is a fully-functioning Pez dispenser and her arms are actually held on with rare-earth magnets so you can easily change up her pose. Also to pay homage to her emortal enemy the Predator, I added a predator mask on the under-rear of her head that opens up to reveal a Dr. Skull Pez face to pay respects to the candy world as well. Her tale was taken from an Alien Resurrection warrior.

There was a surprising amount of sculpting done on this piece including her boob job, inner-arms and head; I painted the inner parts in an aqua blue with yeow speckles and the outer portions in a rich medium blue and added speckles of black, brown and yellow - finally finished with some gold paint and powdered graphite. Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome, thanks for looking :p
