The final of four customs I did for my son to be presented on Christmas day... erm well tomorrow haha! My mother actually snagged this figure at a yard dale for $1 and my son already had Iron Monger so I decided to re-use him.

My son did know of this custom as I left him out to dry and fell asleep, so I asked him to help me do the story since this guy was out of the bag and my son came up with a good one!

BOOM is actually a teenager who is very good with computers, can hack literally anything and found himself staring at blueprints for one of Iron Mongers suits, he took that and blueprints of technology he stole from Tony Stark via an exploitable back-door into Stark Industries and developed his own suit with money stolen from simple identity theft scams he ran on thousands of people! Tricky little teenager eh?

So my son said he started out evil, then Tony had to fight him and won, afterwards had a long talk with him, recruited him into the Avengers and took him under his wing so now BOOM is a Hero! Let us know what you think of that story, its not changing but man I got a hoot out of it when my son told me :D.

Recipe:
- MU Iron Monger as base.
- MI Platinum Hulk Lower leg and feet in which I had to cut and trim plus fill in the old peg holes and drill new ones so they'd fit properly.
- Shoulder pads are sculpt and the grenades cut from Omega Red's belt/harness glued into the sculpt and painted over, turned out pretty good imo.
- Top of the knee pads are also the little square beveled edge blocks from Omega Red's belt glued into place and painted over to remove the slight gap from splicing the legs together ;).
- Applied putty to the helmet, filled in the area between the eyes but retained the lines coming down and also filled in the mouth, painted a skull over.
- Flat Black, Metallic Silver, Flat White.
