Hey everyone! I hope you're all geared up for Christmas! I know recently my wife and I hit up five and below, low and behold they had some Valkyrie and Omega Red figures for $5 so I had to stock up as Valkyrie makes a well articulated female base and Omega Red is similar to a Hercules base... $5 each I couldn't resist! This is one of four customs I made my son for Christmas, I'll include a group shot for reference.

Well let me shutttttttup and get to it eh? This is Ominous, more so an original than anything else but he's basically the son of Nimrod (yes the Sentinel) from the future who is more evolved than any other Sentinel in existence aside from any in timelines past his own respectively. Ominous does not share his fathers end concept that by evolving into more sentient sentinels and essentially "mutating" themselves that they should stop hunting mutants, no instead he wishes to assimilate all mutants and become the most powerful being ever. Think of Ominous like you would Cell from the DBZ series, he absorbs his opponents then evolves into a stronger version. The sad part for our Heroes though is, there is no saving grace - that's right if he absorbs a mutant they're gone forever except for what Ominous gains from them such as a new power or enhanced feature so there is no killing him and they're all spit back out, nope! So with that being said, Heroes beware!

Recipe:
- Omega Red as base figure.
- Replaced head with spare Luke Cage head, applied sculpt and re-painted skin tone.
- Cut the knee guards completely off, added sculpt and made my own knee caps lol!
- Added V shape chest/shoulder design via sculpt.
- Mixed Flat White and a small amount of metallic silver to make his white shimmered paint you see (can't see the shimmer well in pics but it's there).
- Went over the entire figure in Insignia Red, went back over the white with my mix listed above.
- Applied Dark Lord Black Wash (ebay from StarWarsGeek Customs) to the entire figure.
