Hello again everybody!

To begin with, let me just say sorry for the rather long hiatus. I've had exams and have not had time to make any customs. Those are done now so I am back! I finished this a few days ago but haven't had a chance to post it.

This is my take on a modern/concept Gambit! I really try to be original when I do these customs, so I hope I've achieved that with this one. I have had this idea in my head for months, but only had the time to do it now, plus I have never had a Marvel Legends Gambit, so I knew I had to make one.

Right before starting this, I ran out of sculpting clay. There was no way I was putting this off any longer so I had to figure it out. The straps and tubing are neoprene sheeting, along with the headband. I shaved down the headband with my Dremmel. The hair was painted multiple shades of brown then given a blackwash. The whole face is repainted and the eyes are dark red. I outlined the eyes with a 0.05 Micron Pen. I wanted to leave a little bit of blonde in the hair, just to differentiate a little. The neck piece is made of cut up bendy wires that you get with Transformers and Selects. The shirt has about 10 different shades on it ranging from red to pink. Pants are black with a few shades of dark grey and the boots are black base coat with a metallic gun metal followed by a lighter metallic silver. The coat is a black base coat with about 8 different shades of brown with a blackwash using my shoe polish technique. My favourite part of the figure is the boots, I'm just really happy with how they turned out. Almost the entire figure has been drybrushed. The boots and coat were given a gloss finish and everything else a matte finish.
