So this is my very first attempt at customizing ever! I actually got into customizing because I wanted to repaint the greys of my MOTUC Frosta to white, and discovered I really enjoyed the work! Aya Brea is the heroine of the 'Parasite Eve' Playstation game series. Since 'Parasite Eve 2' is my favorite game ever, it was easy to pick that version of her as a first custom to create. I tried to make her into a combination of her in-game appearance and that in the FMV cutscenes, wich are a little different. She is a special agent who has to battle a horrifying race of mutated creatures. Aya discovers she is the only one who can withstand their powers, because they share one distinction; their cells contain evolved mitochondria (part of cell that generates power). The difference though is that Aya's mitochondria work with her instead of against her. Instead of mutating into an evil being, she can generate enormous amounts of energy, control it, and use this power in different ways. One example is the ability to generate fire, as I tried to showcase in the pictures. To create her, I stripped a MOTUC Starla of her skirt, facepaint and hairpiece. My Aya features: - sculpted skirt - sculpted jacket - sculpted hair - sculpted belt and gun holster - repainted face - overall paintjob in (near)accurate colors - modified gun (originally from Little Armory) to recreate her Beretta 93R - as props: a set of S.H. Figuarts Tamashii effect flames To my knowledge, this is only the second Aya Brea action figure on the web. A shame, because it's a game series with great potential to build upon, has a very entertaining story and deserves 'Resident Evil'-like succes imo.. Well, enjoy and let me know your thoughts; it would really help me to improve :-)! ![]() |
