As soon as a saw the boss fight chrome blank, I knew it had to become Silver Surfer. I had a spare surf board from a surfer I'd bought years ago for a base for something.
I cut and sanded the ears from the blank head. I had the hands from the old fodder surfer, so I used a pair of the blank hands to transfer the joints over. I sculpted a connector to the bottom of the surf board to be able to connect a revoltech stand.
For the painting, I did a base coat in vallejo chrome, and added some black wash. After that, I dry brushed some flat white in areas. I also hollowed out some energy effects from the fodder bin to fit the hands. I also sculpted over the screw hole in the posterior region, but left the upper back hole for extra posing opportunities.
Not a whole lot to this one, but I'm happy with how it came out. Thanks for stopping by folks.
