Hi everyone. Back with yet another update to my Giant Size X-Men team, this time its the leader of the pack, Cyclops!

As many of my regular viewers know, I love completing teams. I like my collection to be accurate to source material and consistent in style. I absolutely loathe the esthetic of the old Toybiz figures. I'm always happy to replace an old Toybiz figure with a custom on an updated buck.

Cyclops was made using an All New X-Men box set Angel figure with hands from the Puck BAF Cyclops and a shrunken Marvel Select Cyclops head cast with a slightly modified visor (thanks Casting Cave!) I removed the glove cuffs from the base figure so I could sculpt more accurate ones. I also did the belt and added some bulk to his visor (again to make it closer to source material). After the sculpting was finished, Scotty here was wrapped up with my signature comic book colored paint job and BAM, he was done!

Although he was a pretty simple custom, I am super happy with the end result. I'm glad to be able to replace my old Toybiz version with him in my Giant Size X-Men collection.
