So when you're building your own little universe and having a 9" General Grievous takes your fancy there's only one thing to do, make it.

I'd had a Force Battlers General Grievous figure lying around for a while and struggled with how to get four arm articulation I wanted and also that imposing height to put him in scale with all my other work and collections.

Eventually I happened across a transformer Beast Wars Cheetor figure and pondered sacrificing some of my DST Battlestar Cylons for the the effort.

So the main body is basically a repaint and remould on the torso of the Transformers Cheetor. I did end up buying another one off eBay in order to use the claws for the hands on this one.

The upper arms are all from the aforementioned cylons and the forearms are made from the lightsaber hilts that came with the force battlers figure. Each arm can be popped out to reduce to the two etc. I did try a few different ways to actually have them connect up but in the end didn't like the look or range of motion such methods afforded.

The head is also from the force battler figure. The neck is also from a transformer figure razor claw, I think, this time round.

The feet were donated by a Predaking figure and still clamp shut so I can have Grievous grabbing heads or hanging upside down.

As mentioned that clawed hands are from Cheetor figures and I used new ball joints so I can have the hands freely spin when gripping the lightsabers. The lightsaber blades are again from the force battler figure but I gave them new hilts with pegs to secure them into the hand, again enabling that spinning motion. So with any of them I just pop my finger at any point of the blade and have at it.

Extra elements of armour are from McFarlane Halo figures and the cape I stole from the wife's materials box.

He was completed with the usual tools and materials: epoxy resin, milliput, jewellery tools, acrylic paints and some glitter green nail varnish to add some sparkle.
