Phew! This was a lot of work! Here's his royal highness, the King Alien!

This is Jin Saotome's design, (he's already seen it) so I had to do some reverse engineering to figure out how he made this tentacled monster. The end result is similar to the original, but with a few minor changes. It required a lot of very precise cutting, drilling and sculpting, with a simple black paint job with a silver wash to bring out the details. (I like my aliens shiny.) The horns are also articulated and fold down to become pincers, just like the original.

I'm happy with the end result, though I did have to sacrifice my old NECA Diablo. R.I.P. Diablo.
